GreenPath® History

The genesis of GreenPath® dates back to 1992 and Delaware North's bid for the largest concessions contract in the U.S. National Park Service: Yosemite.

Delaware North was the only bidder that was willing to face the challenge of removing leaking, underground storage tanks left by a previous contractor. Moreover, the company put no limit on the financial resources it would employ to accomplish the task.

The rest is history. Delaware North won the Yosemite bid and began operating the national treasure the following year. Eventually, the company's environmental sensibility and stewardship were articulated in a formal way through GreenPath®.
