The Wind that Brought the Change

When Delaware North associates living in and around New Orleans found their homes and lives in ruin in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the Jacobs family, and other Delaware North executives and associates immediately stepped forward and asked to help. The Delaware North Companies Foundation was the vehicle that allowed hundreds of checks, gift cards and messages of hope to get into the hands of Delaware North associates.

Home Sweet Home
Delaware North Corporate Chef Roland Henin, one of the country’s few master chefs, prepared a dinner for Theresa Parker and her family to celebrate her new home. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Delaware North worked with New Orleans Habitat for Humanity to fund the home that Parker and her two children now call their own.
