Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex receives the 2010 Chairman’s Award, the highest level of recognition given by the United Way.

Queensland’s Wilson Island, owned and operated by Delaware North, is voted one of the big six tented camps in Australia by The Independent newspaper.

Little more than 20 years after entering the world of hotel management and a mere nine years after purchasing its first hotel, Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts is considered one of the top hotel companies. The company is on the lists of Hotel & Motel Management, Hotel Business and Hotel magazines.

Conde Nast magazine includes two Delaware North properties in its lineup of the best resorts, hotels, airlines, cruise lines and destinations in the world. The Ahwahnee® in Yosemite National Park is number 79 of 100 of the best properties on the mainland United States. The Delaware North owned and operated Lizard Island comes out eighth in the 20 top resorts in Oceania.

Smart Meetings magazine gives Tenaya Lodge^SM at Yosemite a Platinum Choice Award for the seventh consecutive year. The award recognizes excellence in service and amenities among meeting venues in the Western United States, Canada and Mexico. One hundred winners are chosen from thousands of applicants.

Yosemite National Park received the 2010 National Park Service National Sustained Park Accessibility Achievement Award. The honor is bestowed on the park that is doing the best job of identifying barriers to equal accessibility for people with disabilities and implementing consistent, ongoing action to eliminate the barriers. Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts, which handles most visitor services in the park, is part of Yosemite’s Accessibility Committee.

Delaware North and Yellowstone National Park received Montana’s 2010 EcoStar Pollution Prevention Award.
