Hospitality that Impresses

Australian destination draws on tradition

The Royal Botanic Garden in Melbourne is world-acclaimed, and it is here nestled amongst gardens planted in 1846 that Delaware North delivers a combination of traditional and contemporary dining at the Terrace.

The setting sees the venue attract locals and international visitors and is popular for weddings, particularly in the spring and summer.

Traditional High Tea never goes out of style and is a much loved part of any visit to the Terrace. However, with a menu that is created to feature seasonal produce and herbs that the executive chef selects weekly – the café menu is consistently innovative and on trend.

At the time that the Royal Botanic Gardens were being established, the Gold Rush was booming throughout Australia and it was in 1850 that Ballarat in the Victorian Countryside became world-famous.

Today, a historic museum has been erected replicating life on a gold field with the Delaware North team strictly adhering the clothes and manner of the day to deliver an authentic experience through the hospitality and catering offer.
