Experience that's Unparalleled
Fans enjoy ‘Banner Moments’ during TD Garden’s 20th anniversary
Delaware North in September 2015 celebrated the 20th anniversary of TD Garden, the world-class arena that the company owns and operates in Boston.
As part of the celebration – themed “Banner Moments” – fans were treated to a first-ever half-ice, half-parquet arena floor setup.
Attendees were able to take a shot on the Bruins ice and a three-point attempt on the historic Celtics parquet court, as well as capture a once-in-a-lifetime photo between both team logos at center ice/court, and get a backstage experience. Also on-hand to greet fans and take part in the action were CEO of Delaware North’s Boston Holdings Charlie Jacobs, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and Rene Rancourt, the longtime singer of the U.S. and Canadian national anthems at Bruins games.
Guests were treated to official TD Garden party favors, including limited-edition prints of a mural created by local artist Adam O’Day. As part of the celebration, O’Day created a huge mural of the arena and surrounding Boston skyline on Level 4 of the venue (outside Loge 5/6).
“More than anything, we wanted to take this opportunity of TD Garden’s 20th birthday and Delaware North’s 100th anniversary to say thank you,” Jacobs said.
