London Luton Airport

Airport Way, Luton LU2 9LY, UK

Delaware North began operating food service at London Luton Airport in June 2017, when we opened a satellite location of the UK High Street brand Friska, whose motto is “Feel Good Food.”

Founded in 2009 by Griff Holland and Ed Brown, Friska prides itself on ethics, provenance and sustainability. In fact, it was named the best Ethical Restaurant by the Observer Food Monthly. The airport outpost seats more than 85 – making it the largest Friska location – and offers a wide-ranging menu that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner options.

London Luton Airport is one of the UK’s largest airports – indirectly employing more than 9,400 people as a key economic driver for the region. The airport’s route network serves 129 destinations, including services to Europe, Africa and Asia.

London Luton Airport is currently investing more than £110million to transform the airport and increase capacity to 18 million passengers per year by 2020. The redevelopment plans include a complete redesign of the terminal, adding a variety of exciting retail and dining options, and major upgrades to transport links, including better road access to the M1, new parking facilities, a remodeled bus and coach interchange, and improved rail links to Luton Airport Parkway station. In addition, plans for a new £200 million light rail system linking the airport with Luton Airport Parkway station have been announced and are anticipated to be completed by 2020.
