Hank the Dog

A group of Delaware North managers found a dog wandering around the Maryvale Stadium’s commissary area. After taking the dog to the SPCA to learn that it was without a home, the legend of “Hank the Dog” was soon born. Hank became an instant hit with the Brewers, even making the trip with the team to Milwaukee, where it now happily resides.

The ballpark seats 10,000 fans .

Spring Training

The Milwaukee Brewers have spent every spring training in Arizona, a stretch beginning when the team was the Seattle Pilots.

Sausage Races

Just like at Miller Park in Milwaukee, the Sausage Race is held before the bottom of the sixth inning at Maryvale Baseball Park.
