Local favorites land in Atlanta airport

Delaware North recently opened the Terrapin Tap House | Cigar and Smoke Lounge in Terminal D at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

The design was inspired by the Terrapin Brewery tasting room, using reclaimed materials, concrete floors and rustic finishes. The space features a high-quality sound system, multiple big-screen televisions and three flight information boards.

The Terrapin Tap House | Cigar and Smoke Lounge offers a large selection of craft beers from the Terrapin Brewery, located in nearby Athens, Ga. The location features more than 50 beers, including local favorites Hopsecutioner IPA, HI-5, RecreationAle and Liquid Bliss.

The food offerings include an assortment of specialty flatbreads, including pimento cheese with bacon and caramelized onions, or the chicken sausage with apples and red onions. Other food offerings include brats, sausages, sandwiches and salads.

“In addition to cold brews and great plates, passengers can have a unique experience at our cigar and hookah bar, a first for the airport,” said Steve Bass, a regional vice president of Delaware North’s travel hospitality business. “With a selection of more than a dozen brands of cigars provided by 5 Points Cigar Shops of Georgia and a vast selection of shisha hookah tobacco flavors to choose from, there’s sure to be something for all tobacco enthusiasts.”
