Delaware North Culinary Team

The Delaware North culinary team is made up of more than 100 professional chefs, each familiar with our promise to treat each guest like the only guest. We require that each one has the appropriate level of American Culinary Federation certification and provide the training and funding to make that happen.

Leading the Delaware North culinary team is Roland Henin, a 25-year member of one of the most elite culinary groups in the world: certified master chefs. Henin serves as Delaware North's corporate chef and chief culinary ambassador. Noted chef Thomas Keller recently called him "the best chef in the world."

Delaware North sponsors a Chefs Summit twice a year, where members of the Delaware North culinary team gather for a week of competition, learning and developing the latest culinary trends. In addition, the company holds an annual Food and Beverage Summit, which gathers front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house culinary team members to participate in intensive preparation, merchandising and quality assurance instruction, to focus on a key area such as organic ingredients or to explore a new trend.
