Popular Fall Drive

The park is best known for Skyline Drive, a 105-mile road that runs the entire length of the park along the ridge of the mountains. The drive is particularly popular in the fall when the leaves are changing colors.

"Wonderful trip. Beautiful scenery and nice staff. Balconies on the rooms provide a beautiful view. Nice restaurants.Very easy check in and check out. Room was reasonably priced and very clean. Well worth the drive from anywhere. Will definitely visit again."

Shenandoah

The word "Shenandoah" is of unknown Native American origin. The most popular and romanticized belief is that it comes from a Native American expression for "Beautiful Daughter of the Stars."
